Light in the Attic reissues play nice with betterPropaganda archives

These are the songs I find myself humming in the morning and listening to repeatedly at night. These are the rare gems and I present them to you.

My picks this month are a result of supreme backlash to all the blog house that's been flooding my senses lately. These ten have all provided a break from the norm for in some way, and I've had most of them on repeat in the past few weeks. Enjoy the eclectic mini-mix.

The climate is nice in San Francisco.

My list is comprised of some older tracks, many of which I had never heard before. I compiled it one evening by starting with TV on The Radio and clicking 'I like this' on the music player whenever I ran across something interesting.

I impart these songs to you as I would if I was on the cover of Sonic Youth's "Goo"--I'd saunter by all murderous and leather-jacket clad, my sister's boyfriend on my arm, both of us ensconced in a cloud of cigarette smoke. I'd reach into the lining of my jacket and pull out a burnt CD, chuck it at you all "FUCK YOU" and wink, "sample my wares". I don't know. These songs just make me feel that cool.
